Soul Stories with Sarah's Rawbites
This week we caught up with Sarah Holm, the mastermind behind one of our favorite collections at SoulBia, Sarah's Rawbites. Read on to find out how Sarah turned her passion for tasty treats & nutritious foods into the Rawbites range we know & love today...
"It started out as a hobby during Summer 2013. I was working full time but looking for an outlet to combine my sweet tooth with my interest in health foods and nutrition for the body and mindset. It eventually evolved into a job and I started working part-time for Avoca in September 2014, creating a few special products for their Malahide Castle cafe. By that December I was working full time for Avoca producing a full range of raw treats (from my own recipes) for all their locations nationwide! I loved working with Avoca but longed to take a jump and go out on my own. In August 2015 I became an independent supplier to Avoca, producing my very own Rawbites range!
Today, Sarah's Rawbites are created in a modest little kitchen in Portmarnock, Dublin. I create my range of raw treats using superfood ingredients to curb those sweet-treat cravings in a raw, wholefood and nutritious way. My bars are 100g in weight so they are great for sharing, if you're feeling generous! They are also the perfect size for popping into your handbag or lunch box when you're on the go. I also make a Vanilla Quinoa Granola. It's great first thing in the morning with yogurt, on top of porridge, in a smoothie bowl or even straight from the tub (my favourite!).
